Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
After arrival at the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro, our English speaking guide will welcome you, followed by transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Sugarloaf tour
Morning: Accompanied by our English-speaking guide, you will discover the mythical Christ the Redeemer. Afternoon: Visit the Sugar Loaf.
Day 3: Private visit to the Rio Colonial and Santa Teresa
Morning: Visit to the botanical garden of Rio. Afternoon: Private tour from the Rio Colonial. Stroll through old Rio & Santa Teresa.
Day 4: Rio - São Luis
Private transfer to Rio airport. Flight to São Luis. Reception at the airport and private transfer to your hotel.
Day 5: Day at LENÇOIS - Brazilian desert with dunes and lagoons. In a single photo you can frame the river, the sea, the mangrove, the countryside and the dunes with their lagoons.
Morning: Private transfer (+/- 03:30h) to your hotel in Barreirinhas, gateway to the Lençóis! Installation at the Hotel. Afternoon at leisure
Day 6: Lençóis Maranhenses
Morning: Departure by Toyota 4x4 - 50 minutes across sandy tracks to the foot of the dunes. Short walk to Lagoa Bonita. Bathing. Afternoon: Lagoa Azul. Magnificent view of the sunset and the dunes.
Day 7: Voadeira tour on the Rio Preguiças river
Full day: Descent of the Preguiças river; stop at Vassouras for a short walk on the Pequenos (small) Lençóis. Continue by the river to Mandacaru. Go up to the lighthouse to admire the view. Return to Barreirinhas in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Crossing the Parnaiba Delta
Morning: 4x4 transfer from Barreirinhas to Tutóia (around 2:30 am). Boarding at the port of Tutóia for crossing the Delta (approximately 4:30 with a pause for lunch).
Day 9: Parnaiba - Jericoacoara
4x4 transfer to Jericoacoara (03:30 am). Possibility of planning a part of the journey by buggy or 4x4 passing by the beach.
Day 10 & 11: Free days
Days at leisure in Jericoacoara. The prestigious American newspaper Washington Post decided to name Jericoacoara, as one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world.
Day 12: End of the trip: Return to your country
Transfer by 4x4 to Fortaleza International Airport for your international flight.
