Brazil Vacation Packages
Day 1 - Barreirinhas
Departure from your hotel in the morning and transfer to Barreirinhas (Lençóis Maranhenses). Then, ride in a toyota 4×4 to the National Park of Lençóis Marenhenses. Known as the Brazilian desert, with a length of more than 100 km by 50 km wide.
Day 2 - Barreirinhas
Departure at 08.30 am with your luggage. Transfer in voadeira (outboard boat). Descent on the ''Rio Preguiças'' river, with a stop in Vassouras for a small walk on the "Pequenos Lençois" and refreshments at Norberto's, bar made of straw, where you will see a colony of monkeys "macacos pregos" which live in harmony with the few fishermen from the neighbouhood. Continue by the river until Mandacaru. Then you will climb up the lighthouse to admire the view. Check in at the pousada.
Day 3 - Barreirinhas - Parnaíba
Transfer in a '4×4' car from Barrerinhas to Tutoia (about 2h30 drive) by the beach and dunes until Paulino Neves, then by sandy road until Tutoia. Embark at the port of Tutoia on a 'voadeira' boat to cross the Delta (about 4h30 with lunch stop not included). The Delta of the Parnaíba remains as beautiful and majestic as in its old days. Formed by 85 islands on a surface of 2700 km² between the states of Piauí and Maranhão, the Delta of Parnaíba is a rare phenomenon that can only be seen here, on the Nile, in Africa and on the Mekong in Asia.
Day 4 - Parnaíba - Jericoacoara
Transfer in a 4×4 car to Jericoacoara (03h30 drive). 120km by car to Camoçim. Then, crossing the river 'Coreau' on a ferryboat, and along the beaches and sandy track to Jericoacoara passing by Tatajuba.
Day 5 - Jericoacoara
Day at leisure in Jericoacoara.
Day 6 - Jericoacoara - going back home / or / Continuing the trip to Natal
Leaving in the morning from jericoacoara. Transfer to your hotel in Fortaleza or to the airport. Possibility to continue the buggy adventure until Natal, for another 4 days, 3 nights).
