day 2 - Rio de Janeiro
Arrival at the international airport of Rio de Janeiro. Our English-speaking guide will be there to welcome you. Check-in at the hotel situated on Copacabana Beach, offering a splendid view. The hotel offers beach towels. After lunch, which is included, you will discover the "Corcovado" the mythical Christ the Redeemer. One of the most beautiful views of Rio, unforgettable! After this, visit to the Botanical Garden, which contains many rare species of Brazilian plants as well as plants from other countries. Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
day 3 - Rio de Janeiro
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. Morning - Visit of the Sugar Loaf, going up by cable car. Lunch is included in a churrascaria, a typical Brazilian restaurant (buffet of entrées and grilled meats served as much as you like). Afternoon - Historic City tour. Dinner at your own leisure.
day 4 - Rio de Janeiro
private transfer to Paraty (3h30 drive). Lunch at your own leisure (stop on the way). Arrival at Paraty for the lanch and Historic City tour afternoon. Stay at the Porto Imperial, located in the historic center of Paraty. Late afternoon, visit by foot to the historical center of Paraty. Dinner included next to the Pousada.
day 5- Paraty
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. In the morning, Boat-rade visiting to the charming bay of Paraty, on a private boat. Lunch included on a beach restaurant. Return around 4.00 pm to the hotel. Dinner at your own leisure.
day 6 - Paraty - Iguassu Falls
Transfer to Rio airport, with the guide. Flight to Iguaçu (direct flight) - Once in Iguassu, our guide will be there to drive you to your hotel. Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
day 7- Iguassu Falls
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. In the morning - visit of the Iguassu falls on the Brazilian side. OPTION NOT INCLUDED: HELICOPTER TOUR ABOVE THE FALLS. Lunch included in a restaurant near the falls. Afternoon visit at the Tropical Bird Park. Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
day 8 - Iguassu Falls
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Falls on the Argentinian side. Lunch included in Argentina. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner at your own leisure (Possibility to do a "dinner with show", with a representation of the different South American dances).
day 9 - Iguassu Falls - Salvador
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. Transfer to Foz do Iguaçu airport, with our guide. Flight towards Salvador - our guide will be waiting for you there and before joining the hotel, we plan a good afternoon tea (included). Then transfer to your hotel in the center of Salvador de Bahia, at the SHERATON hotel. Dinner at your own leisure.
day 10 - Salvador
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. The morning will be devoted to the modern city, Lower Town. With lunch included. In the afternoon, you will visit the Upper Town, where the main monuments and old districts are located. Dinner at your own leisure.
day 11 - Salvador
Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel. Transfer to Salvador airport, with our guide. Flight to Rio de Janeiro and private transfer to Paraty (3h30 drive). Lunch at your own leisure (stop on the way). Arrival at Paraty in the late afternoon. Stay at the Porto Imperial, located in the historic center of Paraty. Late afternoon, visit by foot to the historical center of Paraty. Dinner included next to the Pousada.
day 12 - Salvador - End of the Transat Racing
