Description
Resulting from the junction of two farms, the hotel has kept the historic and rustic atmosphere of its old buildings, adding comfort and sophistication to them so that Maraú can receive tourists from Brazil and the world.
The property has 150 hectares of land that tear the Maraú Peninsula from one side to the other, from the sea to the mangroves. It is in this stretch of land of biodiversity and beauties such as the beach, lagoon, coconut trees, oil palms, native forest and mangroves, that the Terraços Marinhos hotel is located.
In a privileged spot, with the sea in front of it and the Cassange lagoon in its backyard, the hotel is located in an Environmental Protection Area (APA), where turtles spawn at the front door and, with luck, we can watch the dance of the dolphins or humpback whales on their journey across the oceans.
Aware of its social and environmental role, Terraços Marinhos employs local labor, uses solar heating, a sanitation system with water reuse for irrigation, planting regional trees, in addition to having its own vegetable garden and orchard.
