Located in northern Brazil, 250 km from the city of São Luís (Maranhão), the fascinating Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is a Brazilian ecological reserve founded in 1981. This paradisiacal landscape is shaped by dunes and some oases, where emerald and crystalline lagoons are born with rain.
The park is located on the banks of the Preguiças River, which is home to several fragile ecosystems, populated by turtles and birds, and an exceptional flora made up of mangroves and sandbank dunes as far as the eye can see.
Atins, nestled between the park and the mouth of the Rio Preguiças, is a village populated by fishermen and dreamers.
This corner of paradise inspired the creation of Vila Guará, a luxury hotel dedicated to nature lovers and kite surfers.
