Description

Pousada Galeria Artes is an inn with a different proposal. The accommodation is part of a residence concept where the objects placed in it have a personalized, cultural, familiar character and come from all over the world…

Bonito is the number one destination for Ecotourism and it was with this in mind that we built our residence.
It has an extra for those looking for a beautiful, comfortable, healthy, peaceful environment with lots of space.

Even located in the city, we have an area of 2,500 m2 lawn with swimming pool, typical trees of the region, some mango trees and a brazilwood tree. We have cisterns to collect rainwater and solar panels that heat the water in the showers. Pousada Galeria Artes is 100% non-smoking. All our apartments are air-conditioned with state-of-the-art technology (inverters), do not release polluting gas and save resources.

Thinking about the tourists who choose Bonito as a destination due to Ecotourism and taking this concept of differentiated, responsible and sustainable tourism, we are part of the Sustainable Beautiful Project since 2013 carried out by SEBRAE. We support  Social Projects such as  Instituto Mirim Ambiental,   we sponsor the Cultural Space of Bonito’s Small Rural Producers Fair and other actions within the Pousada and in the community.

We have an area with books and magazines. Wi-fi internet is available for free in all areas of the inn. Breakfast is prepared with various products from Chácara Beija-Flor, which is agroecological and produces honey, milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, jams, fruits and teas and other ingredients from local producers, we even use honey from Chácara Beija-Flor .

We always have a collection of local crafts at the inn. In this period we are showing a collection of photos by Malaysian photographer Ting Nai Ho and other artists. When we lived in Miri, we acquired this collection of 38 photos. They show the daily life of Malays who are now a minority as 70% of Sarawak’s residents are Chinese. Indigenous culture is dying out and in these photos you have a sample of their customs, culture and environments.
