Athos Bulcão
One of the legacies that the artist Athos Bulcão left for the Palace was this panel, which begins in the external area and goes to one of the hotel’s lounges. Made in tiles, in the style that the artist was renowned for, in white and blue, this panel is 3.25x26m in size.

Niemeyer’s Story
The oval-shaped pool is one of the legends in the history of Brasília Palace. They say that days before Easter Sunday, the year the hotel was built, the architect drew a picture on the floor, showed it to the engineers and said: “it’s there, you can do it”.
