2. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT (FOR TOURS) The conditions stipulated below apply to circuits made in Brazil. The conditions for booking hotel nights are different (please contact us).
2.1 Registration
Any registration for a stay, circuit, made by BRASIL FRANÇA AGENCIA DE TURISMO, responding to the fancy name of Trip Brazil, is subject to the payment of a deposit FROM 30% of the total amount of the services, with the exception of trips made during the New Year period and the Carnival period (Friday to Center Tuesday). For any registration less than 31 (thirty-one) days from the date of departure, payment must be made in one go and for the entire amount of the trip. Registration will only be considered final after receipt of these regulations accompanied by the information requested by our Agency.
2.2 – Payment terms
Our agency allows customers to pay for their trip: – Payment by bank transfer to the bank account of BRASIL FRANÇA in Paris (Payment in Euros) – Payment by VISA / MASTERCARD / AMERICAN EXPRESS card. Payment in Euros or in your quote (no bank charges).
3.TRAVEL INFORMATION
3.1 – Administrative and health formalities
BRASIL FRANÇA AGENCIA DE TURISMO provides this information for all nationalities. When the administrative formalities to be completed with a view to entering Brazil or Argentina (Iguaçu border) require obtaining a visa or any other type of authorization, must consult the Brazilian or Argentinian Consulate in their country. It is the customer’s responsibility to complete the formalities for obtaining the visa or other authorizations from the competent authorities and at his expense. People of foreign nationality must inform themselves about the administrative formalities (passport, visa, etc.) and health formalities (vaccines), at the competent embassies or consulates. It is strongly recommended that the client verify all information with the authorities concerned.
BRASIL FRANÇA AGENCIA DE TURISMO cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for the consequences of the customer’s failure to observe customs or health police regulations, before and during the journey. A customer who could not embark on a flight for lack of presenting the required documents, could not claim any refund. 4. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER BEFORE DEPARTURE
Any modification of air or land service or any request to change the name or part of the spelling of the name, after issue of the ticket, will be considered as a cancellation followed by a re-registration. Cancellation fees may therefore be charged. When registering and booking an air service, we ask that you check that the spelling of the Names (First and Last Names) is identical to that on the passports.
5. CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES
At any time, the customer may cancel the services requested. We indicate the cancellation conditions below: – The deposit paid or full payment on booking, even if made beyond 30 days, will not be refunded – 50% (1) of the total price of the trip if the cancellation of the trip is requested between 30 (thirty) and 15 (fifteen) days before departure, except during the New Year and Carnival periods, period for which no refund will be made, – 100% of the total price of the trip if the cancellation of the trip is requested 15 (fifteen) days before departure, – After the start of the trip, no refund will be made on services already paid, for any reason whatsoever, – Tickets aircraft are non-transferable and not endorsable. In the case of cancellation of airline tickets, they will be limited to the standards of the Airline Company and to the institutions concerned IATA / DAC. from ten (days) after receipt of the cancellation of the trip. – In the event of cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, costs external to the packages and incurred by the client such as costs for obtaining visas, travel documents, vaccination costs, cannot be subject to a any reimbursement. (1) – During a group trip, the cancellation of part of the participants could result in an increase in prices for transfers and visits. Thus transfers, visits will not be reimbursed so as not to harm other participants.
6. AIR TRANSPORT
6.1. Modification, force majeure
Flight schedules, departure and arrival airports, aircraft types, transportation companies and routes are subject to change without notice. These modifications as well as any technical incident external to Brasil França Agência de Turismo, delay, cancellation, additional stopovers, change of aircraft, route, political, climatic events, may cause modifications in the programming of the trip, giving no right to reimbursement or material or financial compensation by Brasil França Agência de Turismo. In the event of a flight delay greater than 2 hours, beyond our control, our receptive teams may have to ask you for compensation for the waiting time at the airport.
6.2 LUGGAGE
When purchasing airline tickets, check the baggage conditions stipulated by the airlines. As a general rule (to be confirmed according to the companies), Brazilian airlines accept 23kg of checked baggage, per passenger, and 5kg of hand luggage, per passenger. Your luggage remains permanently under your own responsibility. Brasil França Agência de Turismo cannot be held responsible for any loss of luggage.
7. INSURANCE
Brasil França Agência de Turismo asks customers to take out repatriation assistance insurance before arriving in Brazil. – For French nationals, we suggest Chapka Insurance. The subscription to the Insurance contract must be carried out by the customer, within a maximum period of 48 hours, after the payment of your trip with our agency. – When paying for your trip with your bank card, you benefit from ‘insurance. 8.RATES
In accordance with the law, we may be obliged to modify our prices and our programs to take account of: – variations in the cost of transport, linked in particular to the cost of fuels, – variations in the fees and taxes relating to services provided such as landing, embarkation, disembarkation taxes, – the variation in exchange rates applied to the trip or stay in question. The price may be revised depending on the currency evolution. In this case, the re-evaluable part is equal to 100% of the price with the exception of the price of international flights. – At the signing of the contract, the price is firm and final. It is expressed in euros (base in Real) and can no longer be modified by any of the parties except as a function of the two points authorized by law (variation in the cost of transport and variation in the fees and taxes relating to the services provided). – In the event of a change in the price for the cases referred to above, Brasil França Agência de Turismo undertakes to inform the client thereof by telephone and by email. In case of registration of several customers on the same file number, the price per customer is different depending on the number of people registered on the file. Consequently, in the event of the cancellation of one or more customers, the price of the services for the customers remaining registered may itself be different from the initial price. Any refusal on the part of customers remaining registered to pay the new price will be considered as a cancellation on the part of the customer.
9. UNUSED LAND SERVICES / MODIFICATIONS
Services not used on site (transfers, excursions, accommodation, vehicle rental, flights, etc.) will not give rise to any refund. The services voluntarily modified on site are subject to the conditions of local service providers and suppliers; additional or replacement services, generating an additional cost, must be paid directly to local service providers and suppliers and cannot in any case engage the responsibility of Brasil França Agência de Turismo. They will not give rise to any reimbursement of the unused part of the services.
10.RESPONSIBILITY
Brasil França Agência de Turismo cannot be held responsible for the consequences of the following events: – Loss or theft of airline tickets (airlines do not issue duplicates), – Failure to present or present identity documents and / or sanitary expired, wrong or of insufficient validity (identity card, passport, visa) or not in accordance with the indications appearing on the registration form, at the customs or registration police station. In the event of failure to check in (including delay in boarding), 100% of the total amount of the trip will be retained. – Incidents or unforeseeable and insurmountable events of a foreign third party such as: wars, political unrest, congestion airspace, bankruptcy of a service provider, bad weather, delays, breakdowns, loss or theft of luggage or other effects.
